My experience at Vertu Ford Durham was positive because I have bought a few cars from this dealership and always had a good service from them even though the car I bought this time was not a ford the salesperson did his best to explain all the details concerning the vehicle and what he didn’t know about he found out for me.
My experience at Vertu Ford Durham could have been better because: 1) ridiculous money laundering payment rules meant my partner paid, but that wasn’t allowed, so I had to pay again and my partner get a refund. Total waste of time! 2) the car had an active recall on it; it should have been dealt with by Vertu before sale; 3) the wheel removal kit was missing as was the tow loop; they should have been replaced; 4) there were scratches on one door edge not highlighted in the video or pictures sent, but claimed all was ‘normal’ for a 10k miles vehicle. Don’t agree and the garage should have touched up the paint; 5) there has been no response to my questions about points 2 to 4. It feels v much like ‘we take your money then don’t care after that’. Only interested in selling service and insurance packages for the extra cash they back!
