Bought my new Alfa Giulia from Bateman and lynch last week. I’ve been looking for ages and found my perfect car at a great price. From start to finish Sam has been amazing. No pressure, kept me up to date throughout and the prep work meant the car looked incredible when I picked it up. Top service, worth the trip I travelled just under 300 miles and spent over 5 hours on the train to pick up my 2018 BMW X3 30d M Sport from Bateman Lynch Cars — and it was well worth it. I dealt with James, who was sound from start to finish. No pressure, no sales tactics — just honest, straightforward service. I was already at the top of my budget, and he explained the extra warranty clearly without trying to push it. That kind of honesty goes a long way. I placed a \xa3500 deposit which was fully refundable if the car wasn’t as described, and James even had someone collect me from the station. When I arrived, the car was exactly as described — clean, well looked after, and ready to go. The paperwork was sorted too, including the road tax. I was in and out quickly and the car drove beautifully on the way back — powerful, smooth, and surprisingly economical. James also followed up after the sale with a goodwill gesture, which shows he genuinely cares about his customers — even once the car is out the door. Highly recommend Bateman Lynch Cars — proper service, no messing about, and worth the journey even if you’re coming from miles away

James had a lovely polite manner. Not pushy. Let's you test drive and have a good look around the car without any hassle. The car was kept inside so you could see the paintwork without rain on. Was prepared to go above and beyond to suit the customers needs. Nothing seemed too much trouble. All in all a pleasant experience.

Recently purchased a Volvo XC90 from Sam at the Tavistock branch. Cannot fault the experience. He made us feel welcome including my 2 month old baby. He made the process really easy helping with tax, insurance and everything else that comes with the purchase. The showroom is spotless and accommodates babies with baby changing facilities. He managed to sort the car out for us whilst we travelled 2 hours and it was immaculate. Was happy that he knocked off some money and the one fault with the car has agreed to book it into a local garage and pay for the fault to be rectified so we could drive the car home that day. When we change cars again I will 100% be returning here.

I had an excellent experience when purchasing a Porsche Macan GTS. James could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Very informative and not pushy. I traveled 225 miles to collect the car and this did not put me off. I.highly recommend them.

Purchased a 2018 Kia Sorento 7 seater, diesel, 2.2 KX-3 from James at Bateman & Lynch, 7/5/2025, easily justifies 5 star rating all day long for the friendly service from these guys. Absolutely no pressure, able to view, walk round and test drive the vehicle, they also sorted out some slight imperfections with no hassle, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a genuine vehicle that suits your requirements, nany thanks👍
