I recently viewed a car at acar2go and had a fantastic experience, largely thanks to the sales agent, Gino. From the moment I spoke with Gino, he was incredibly professional, transparent, and helpful. He patiently answered all my questions, provided detailed information about the vehicle, and was very responsive throughout the entire process. Even after it became clear that I wouldn't be making a purchase at this time, Gino remained courteous and attentive, never once being dismissive. His excellent customer service made the whole experience very positive.

UPDATE:I had an experience 6 ish months ago with this garage, and financing a car. Lots of things went wrong in the beginning, and nothing I could have been warned of or would of known would happen. I left a review making my thoughts and feelings known. The garage has since been in contact with me, and really tried their upmost to make things better. They have been nothing but kind and understanding. Joe and Jo have been very supportive with responding to my calls and emails, making my feelings feel heard and acknowledged. Joe arranged to have my car in to have a look at before Christmas because he did not want to leave it any longer. The garage fitted me in within a 11 days of calling me, provided me with a courtesy car and had the parts in for my car on next day delivery. Upon picking up my car, it was a bit trial and error as the problems with my car were not always constant, so have had to wait and see if they arise again. Whilst picking the car up, there were a few tweaks to be made and I had to pop back to the garage a few times and call them as well. The mechanic, I didn’t catch his name but I think it is Darren, has been nothing but accommodating and I can say nothing but only sing his praises. He has humored me with the silly little things that needed putting right and I can see that he loves his job and truly takes pride in it. He is an asset to ACar2Go! Gino, as well, has been nothing but helpful, offering me a lift home after dropping my car for diagnosing. So all in all, what started out as a little bit of a pickle (to put it politely), has been put right and my car is going well (so far)! ACar2Go have made it clear that if I should need anything, they are only a phone call away. I feel very supported in this situation now and only have positive things to say about Joe and his team. They really have redeemed themselves, hence the updated review. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have had the complete worst experience with this garage. I was pushed into buying a car, which they messed up the finance and demanded an additional \xa3800 pounds off of me on top of the deposit I paid, only positive to this is that I could spread it over a year paying back. No one took ownership of this mistake and didn't even apologise. I have had no end of issues with the car I got, which I am still trying to sort out 4 months later. Any time I try to get in contact with the company, my emails get ignored. I really feel let down by the company as a young single female taking out finance. I would definitely not recommend this garage. If I could give less than one star, I would.

I bought a car from Acar2go a few months ago and I have been very happy with it and with the service I received from the garage overall.\xa0 I test drove the car and did not feel pressured in any way by the sales staff, who were all very helpful indeed.\xa0 Daimien the mechanic was especially helpful and since my job is dependent on the car, his advice was especially useful.\xa0\xa0 I would happily purchase my next car from this garage and would highly recommend them for service, professionalism and friendliness.

Have just purchased my second car from here. As always the sale staff were amazing and so helpful they took their time with me which made it a very relaxed experience. The finance was explained clearly and I also took out extended warranty too. The car was valeted immaculately, just like picking up a new car. Such a high level of service, I can't thank Joe and the team enough. This company certainly went above and beyond, I now have my perfect car.

Awful company, they embody the negative stereotype of a car salesman. Had an awful experience with Joe the managing director, he will outright say he's the nicest person in the world to deal with, and he'll act it, right up until the moment you've paid, then when the car has numerous serious issues, he'll change, and either not reply to emails, or outright tell you that you won't get your money back (even though you have the right to reject within 30 days) he'll lie and tell you incorrect information about your consumer rights. I'd recommend going to another car dealership, this lot don't even check the cars before they sell them, they also massively over price them, and the so called extended warranty they provide is nothing but a con. Take your hard earned money somewhere else and get yourself a decent car.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. If you’re female, and considering this garage, please read this review. This garage loves to prey on vulnerable, lone females. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Car2Go, and cannot recommend them to anyone. From the start, I felt pressured into making decisions I wasn’t comfortable with. On my first visit, I was encouraged to take a test drive on the same day despite my hesitation. During the test drive, I wasn’t allowed to drive over 30 miles an hour and I was told that I wouldn’t be insured past the small road the garage was on, which left me unable to properly assess the car and listen for any abnormal noises etc. Afterwards, I was pressured heavily into putting down a \xa3300 deposit with the promise that it would waive the admin fee and include a discounted extended warranty. However, I later discovered that the deposit was more than what was advertised online (\xa3250). Feeling pressured and misled, I felt obliged to go ahead with the purchase, and I regret doing so. The price of the vehicle was overpriced for the age, make, and model of the vehicle. Unfortunately, problems with the car started almost immediately, and when I tried to contact the garage, my correspondence was completely ignored each and every time. After being stonewalled by this garage, I visited in person with my partner as a witness to request a refund, only to be rudely dismissed and told I’d never see my money again. The managing director, Mr Joe Aquino, demonstrated an appalling lack of professionalism and customer care. I approached him to request a refund for the car due to multiple issues, but the conversation quickly became frustrating and hostile. I calmly explained the problems with the car, including concerns about its condition and specific faults, but my concerns were dismissed. When I mentioned my rights under consumer law, the director repeatedly insisted that I had no grounds for a refund, directly contradicting the law regarding my 30-day right to reject a faulty car. Throughout the discussion, he belittled me, accused me of raising my voice (which I was definitely was not), and even laughed at my concerns, which I found extremely patronising and intimidating. His tone was condescending, and he implied that I was inventing issues to justify rejecting the car. When I asked why my previous emails detailing the faults hadn’t been acknowledged, he deflected responsibility, claiming they might have been caught in a quarantine system, despite me sending them to the correct address. Instead of addressing my concerns, he focused on minimising the issues, stating that wear and tear on a six-year-old car was to be expected. Even when I brought up the significant mechanical issues I had already identified, such as problems with the clutch, he refused to acknowledge them as valid reasons for a refund. His dismissive attitude left me feeling both unheard and misled. The entire encounter felt like a deliberate attempt to undermine my confidence and discourage me from pursuing a refund. It was clear that he had no intention of resolving the matter amicably. *If anyone wants to hear and see proof of this, I have got a recording and I am willing to share it should I get a response to this review denying it once more* It wasn’t until I threatened legal action in a recorded letter, supported by an independent mechanic’s report, that they reluctantly agreed to refund me. Not until they refused to acknowledge the issues raised in the report, though. This experience has been stressful, expensive, and time-consuming. The lack of customer care, transparency, and professionalism is shocking. Please please please, If you’re thinking about buying a car here, especially if you are a LONE FEMALE, I strongly advise you to think twice. There are far better, more honest garages out there. If this review gets a comment denying any wrongdoing at all, I’ll be forced to expose all evidence I have of you doing such things.
