The Narrow Yard Appletree Road Banbury OX17 1LH
Banbury
HISTORY Thought to be the only black G33 ever made and purchased from the son of author Frederick Forsyth, fax correspondence with the author comes with the car. Mileage reads as 14,700 and is believed to be correct. Purchased in 2014 by the current owner and was used as design inspiration for the owners new car companys first model, the Wells Vertige. Sadly unused since, the car ran and drove when parked in 2014 but now is being sold as a non running barn find. A new battery and some new fuel should see the car start right up. SPECIFICATION Black with red leather, full roof canvas and side screens, alloy wheels, 3.9 litre Rover V8 with 5 speed manual gearbox, pop up headlamps, Kenwood speakers, stainless steel exhaust (in excellent condition). CONDITION In remarkably good condition considering its lack of use for the last 11 or so years, the glassfibre bodywork has some marks and some light damage on the bonnet where a screw on the engine has pushed through. The interior is pretty good as well and would probably clean up very well. The chassis clearly has some surface rust, the worst to the front of the car but we dont believe any welding will be needed. The wheels are still in good shape and the roof and roof frame are present and in good shape, but the car will clearly need recommissioning and light restoration. Thankfully during its time off the road the car has been dry stored. Will need to be trailered away. The last two pictures show the car in period on a track day. WHY BUY FROM US?
