Purchased a 2nd hand vehicle through Kirkhams PX. Jay was great from the off. No pushy sale’s patter and answered all the q’s I had about the car, warranty, etc and gave me the keys for a test drive. The car drove impeccably, a lot better than my other car which was a lot newer. Written in pen on a previous service, the book referenced “timing belt done”, but no receipt/paperwork to corroborate. Jay immediately offered to find out what garage this was and ring them to confirm this work had been done, which he did. I also spotted a slight oil leak and asked about this. Again, Jay reassured me this would be fixed with no hesitation. For me this nailed the purchase, along with a 12 month warranty and breakdown cover for an 11 year old car. I’d not seen any other car advert with anything near this cover. I put down my deposit and left Jay and Ste with the car and they would be in touch once it was ready. I waited a few days and admittedly was still a little apprehensive having bought the first car I had viewed. On speaking to Jay, he informed me that it was a big job to sort out the oil leak and that it may take a bit longer than anticipated. Again he was very upfront and was more concerned about me having to wait a little longer, than what it was going to cost him in labour, etc. I told him that I just wanted the car right before collecting and if he needed it a little bit longer, it was no big deal. Again, Jay surprised me by thanking me for this and offering a free upgrade on my warranty, moving me onto an Autoguard “premium” cover. A few days later the car was ready and it didn’t disappoint. Drove the 1hr 20mins home with no problems at all. My wife loves the car, proof being she has cleaned the inside of it, which has never happened with any other car before😁. Jay was true to his word and did upgrade my warranty. A week or so later I noticed that a front light was not working. I contacted Jay, who again took it in his stride and told me to bring the car up and they would have a look. It turned out that the light was a BMW upgrade and had to be bought at BMW prices. Jay never told me how much, he just ordered it without question and arranged a date to repair it. To date I have been more than impressed with Jay and his team. They’re friendly, hardworking and honest and I would definitely purchase a car from them again, even though it was quite a drive for me. I even got a sausage butty made for me whilst I waited for my car. What can I say. Thanks Jay, Ste and the team. Great job 👍

Hi, I wanted to share my experience of buying a car from Kirkham Part Exchange, Last yeast I bought a BMW i absolutely love it and the car has run brilliantly over the last 12 months.....this year my husband bought a BMW from Jay and has been well looked after. On Monday my mum had an RTC at ribby hall round about ....air bags deployed....mum collapsed at the scene ....Jay recognised mine and my husbands BMW's and pulled over and stopped to help. He evan drove my mums scar which had been in the RTC to his car dealership and parked the car up under cameras till it could be recovered...he also drove my sister back to her car. My point is that when you buy a car from Jay at kirkham its not just business, they become friends, so much to the point he already has instructions to look for my next car when ready for one. Once again a sincere thank you to Jay and the kirkham Part Exchange Team.

Bought a car, 3 weeks in broke down. Belt was past its lifespan shedding fibres into the oil, somehow got missed during inspection. Had the car 4 months at the time of writing and further problems with the engine are going to cost me \xa31000+. Dealer, if you manage to talk to him, essentially told me its my problem.

I bought a honda civic 1.8 petrol from this garage and has been nothing but problems. I was told it was a clean car and thinking it was a honda it would be reliable. But after driving a few hundred miles I had to refill the oil after the oil light came on. And ever since then I've constantly had to top up the car every 1000 miles of motorway driving, more so when driving in town. The warranty is not worth much either as when I've read the website I don't know what it would cover, pretty much crosses everything out.

I was recommended Kirkham Part exchange by my garage i use , What a little gem of a find . I was told they only buy cars they would use themselves . Went to buy a BMW 120d, actually waited for the sales person to bring the car round and watched the guy go through the I Drive to service and reset the service reminder as it was overdue, when I asked him why he just did that he barefaced lied even though I just watched him do it. So the car was way past a service and he just deleted the dashboard reminder. Next got in the car for a test drive only to find the drivers seat belt jammed, it would not move, No way was this vehical even road legal let alone fit for sale Stay Away
