Morris Minor 1955 - Split Screen 2 Door

This is a beautiful , low mileage , matching numbers example, finished in the very rare , 1955 model year only colour of Sandy Beige . The car has been fully restored throughout , to a very high standard, but in a sympathetic nature in order to retain as much originality as possible . She is as clean underneath as she is on top . Thousands of pounds and man hours have been poured into her . The only major new parts fitted were bumpers and over riders, bonnet and boot hinges, door handles, headlight bezels , complete wiring loom , carpets , headliner , hubcaps and tyres . The original engine and gearbox were fully rebuilt , as well as the ancillary parts including the carburettor , dynamo, starter motor and the radiator . They now adorn a stunning engine bay . The car retains its working semaphores plus additional indicators had been added .This is by far the best Morris Minor we have ever seen here . It has a few show winning certificates amongst the history file, as well as numerous old MOT certificates and invoices , detailing the thousands of pounds spent on restoration. It even has its original buff logbook, although sadly the number was removed . Opportunities to acquire an early split screen minor in this condition, in a rare colour are few and far between .
