I would not recommend Vertu Hyundai Banbury because they were only interested in selling the vehicle. The after sales was poor and I constantly had to chase up the missing boot liner and car mats which were agreed on sale. I hadn't been told they weren't in the car when I was given the keys, it was only because I noticed that I was then told why they weren't there. Then I had to constantly call to see if they'd arrived. I also paid a £250 deposit because I had to wait for my V5 to arrive for my trade in. It came before the mats and bootliner arrived but waited until they had arrived to take it in. Then I was told I couldn't be given the full £250 refund that day and had to wait. Again, I had to chase this up the following week. When I received my tax rebate from dvla for the trade in I was a month short of what I should have received and when I questioned it with vertu I was told it was because I didn't bring my V5 in until the 1/8 despite the handover being 25/7. However I was under the impression that the trade in date should be the date the road tax is transferred. When I questioned it I was offered a goodwill gesture of them putting £15 of fuel in my car. Which was less than the tax rebate I'd of received but I accepted it anyway. My previous vehicle was purchased from Paul rigby in bromsgrove and I couldn't fault them. If also requested a bootliner for that vehicle and that didn't arrive by the time I oick d it up but they told me that before I collected the car and try Even delivered it in person to my house despite it being an hour away.
My experience at Vertu Hyundai Banbury was memorable because the staff were never pushy or over friendly but professional and courteous with very good knowledge of the vehicles we looked at . I would certainly recommend visiting them if you are looking for a car new or used
