Upon seeing previous reviews I was a bit skeptical about Stratstone Select Bracknell. However they have exceeded my expectations massively! Anthony couldn’t have been more helpful if he tried, was honest about the car and looked exactly how they described - excellent. Made the whole experience stress free and I would recommend to anyone. Simon was also brilliant, again at no point did I feel like I was being pushed / forced. Was all a very relaxing experience. Thank you to Anthony and the team for making buying a car a joy! Hopefully see you again in the future. If you’re looking at getting a car, I wouldn’t hesitate at using Stratstone Select Bracknell.

*An utterly dreadful experience* I “attempted” to purchase a vehicle in March ‘25, and the initial contact (with the ‘Sales Manager - Douglas Gregg’) prior to purchasing, although not exceptional seemed ok. Regardless of concerning (recent) Google reviews, I arranged to view the car at an agreed time (as I live 2.5hrs away). When I arrived, the car was not ready to view and I was left waiting in the showroom (I felt this was strange given we’d agreed the time, and even called ahead to advise we would be on time). After 15 minutes, the car was brought to the viewing area, and we proceeded to view, and take the car out for a test drive. The car was presented in a very poor condition, not cleaned with scrapes and damage to the paintwork (strange for a 2 year old car at a “Stratstone” showroom). I found this odd given there had been a week since I arranged the viewing. When pointed out, Douglas agreed that the paintwork marks would be sorted, along with a thorough 100+ point inspection - strangely, there was no formal process for this agreement, and the car was swiftly taken around the corner to the paintwork repair man (I would have expected a formalised process for this). Upon deciding to proceed (having been assured by Douglas), I paid a \xa3500 deposit, and although trying to be pressured to pay the full amount (and not being available to pick up) before the March end (for Douglas’ targets), we agreed I could collect in early April. That evening I received an email, which had the incorrect purchase record, and no formal record of the repairs that we agreed to (it was just noted in the email). I responded with a detailed email outling the repair requirements and also asking when the inspection would take place - I received no acknowledgement to this email, or update. From then, it was total silence - I received no update within a week, and had to chase (via phone which I could never get through to Douglas as he was always “busy”, and via email which weren’t responded to promptly). Unfortunately, after 2 weeks, and on the day I had initially agreed to collect the car, I’d still not heard anything (and still Douglas avoided my calls), I sent an ultimatum email for an update of a timeline of when I could collect the vehicle and a copy of the inspection record - upon this email, Douglas provided me with an immediate refund without any explanation as to why, apart from trying to blame my expectations - I only ever wanted what had been agreed (which wasn’t unreasonable for a \xa329k 2 year old vehicle). Upon the refund, no timeline confirmation was provided (breaking Statutory Consumer Rights) and I had to contact my Credit Card provider to raise a dispute to obtain the refunded money. In summary, there was very limited communication - Douglas actively avoided my calls (this was obvious given the interaction I had with the receptionist) for an update, and a lack of follow up of what was agreed (very brief emails). Ultimately, Douglas pulled out even though I’d paid the deposit and wanted to proceed with the purchase - what a waste of time, and a thoroughly unenjoyable experience which has tarnished my confidence in buying a new car. Avoid this car showroom and go elsewhere! Please do not be fooled by the “Stratstone Select” name - the recent Google reviews speak volumes!

The car i bought wasn’t prepped to the standard i would expect, the seat had been torn and a not very good attempt at repair, (although we did agree i could get it repaired and they would cover cost), there was dried in chocolate all over the roof lining presume from last owner, then the wheel alignment was far out which i needed to get changed the day after i got home even though it came with paper work from the garage saying it had been checked only the week prior.. my own fault i should have test drove the car rather than trusting it would be fine, but had a 10 hour drive in front of me.

We were blatantly mis-sold a car by this dealership, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. We purchased the car at the end of July, reassured by their claims that the service history and maintenance were all up to date. Within just two weeks, we encountered significant issues. The brake pads were worn out almost immediately, and the battery constantly showed "low battery." The brake pad issue alone raises serious concerns about the car's true condition at the time of sale. Given that we barely commute, this rapid deterioration suggests the service history was either falsified or grossly misrepresented. As for the battery, we did everything a reasonable person would do—taking longer drives to recharge it—but even after extended trips, the problem persisted. It’s clear the battery was faulty from the start. What makes this situation even more disgraceful is that they saw us with our small baby when we bought the car. Despite this, they proceeded to mislead us about its condition, putting our family’s safety at risk. When we called to address the issues, their response was appalling—they immediately distanced themselves, claiming it wasn’t covered by the insurance. This is unacceptable given that they knowingly misrepresented the vehicle during the sale. This dealership is not just unreliable; it’s unethical. They took hard-earned money from ordinary people like us, only to sell us a car riddled with issues. Meanwhile, they are likely continues to enjoy a life of luxury, funded by deceitful practices like this. In total, we spent additional \xa31200 on the car within just three months of use. What a disgrace. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Spend your money somewhere that values honesty and integrity—this place clearly does not.

I came in to buy my first Porsche last week, to which the initial service seemed okay, friendly and had no problem showing me the car, took me for a test drive etc. However, when it came to buying the car, it almost seemed as if they didn’t want to sell it. Ignored multiple emails or just didn’t acknowledge my offers - a straight “No” would’ve been better. I was quite surprised, as I’d thought there’d be some sort of negotiation or atleast ask me about finance options. It was just a bit bizarre. Disappointed and decided to look at other options instead.

I bought an 2020 X6 and I had the pleasure of dealing with Simon at Stratstone Select again, and from the very first phone call, he exceeded my expectations. Having worked with him previously in 2023, I knew I was in good hands. Simon listened carefully to my needs and had a deal in place within just 15 minutes! His ease, confidence, and professionalism made the entire process stress-free. He kept me updated throughout, ensuring everything went smoothly. Simon is an absolute legend and a true asset to the company. Thank you so much for your amazing service from start to finish! Moe

After Rybrook Bristol effectively closed for McLaren another owner recommend Ascot/Bracknell. Shauna handled our servicing and repairs with great professionalism. The technician team were clearly well versed in the marquee. No hesitation in taking the car there again.

Paid good money for a 2020 F Type. Car and delivery good but disappointing preparation, even a tyre dust cap missing. Some areas of the car not cleaned inside and out. Owners manual missing, I had to acquire from Jaguar, it wasn't difficult or expensive, I'm surprised they didn't make the effort to do this for me. Had a fault on the car after 10 days, although I had purchased extended guarantee they did not cover all of the time needed. I paid and sent a claim, and after about 6 weeks I have had no refund or communication, no one is answering the phone or emails. Very poor.

Purchased a vehicle from Jardine Motors which we were happy with, but ended up requiring work under their supplied warranty after four months. Jardine Motors were unable to carry out the work themselves so suggested to have the work undertaken by the manufacturer’s garage direct. The work was pre-authorised and at the pre-approved cost authorised in direct consultation with Jardine’s warranty claims department. Once the work was completed, the garage which undertook the work was paid direct and the invoice given to Jardine’s warranty for reimbursement. Jardine’s warranty then retracted on their pre-authorised/approved costing (although admitting it was correct, but not liking how it was itemised on the manufacturer’s invoice) leaving us hundreds of pounds out of pocket. AVOID! Edit: Don't be fooled by their review response sounding like they care. I reached out to them as suggested but they didn't even respond.
