My experience at Perrys Dover Ford was so great. I went in with my old car to see how bad it was. And when I was sat crying in the show room because it was time to get another car, Sarah Jarvie reassured me and immediately found me a car on the lot and I test drove it, and bought it there and then. I am so thankful to her. She was extremely professional and supportive. She understood what a big stress it is for me to get a new car, and handled it (and my emotions) like a pro. Highly recommend. Have already convinced my mum and neighbour that they have to get their next car from Sarah at Perrys Ford Dover!
I'd recommend Perrys Dover Ford because the whole process was easy from viewing the car to purchasing, everything was clearly explained to me, I was nervous at first having not purchased from a main dealer before however the salesman made me feel at ease and made the whole process simple.
Perrys Dover Ford were not so great because I am still confused by the on board computer controls and would appreciate an owners handbook to explain the workings of and purpose of the computer control and would be very happy to recommend you if you can help with getting a manual or explanation of the computer etc..
My experience at Perrys Dover Ford could have been better because. During the deal, was told that they could fit 2 new front tyres, as the wear was very low on them, When we got to the final deal, was then told that they couldn't do them because the margin was not in the car, because i didn't take out the warrenty, Not really acceptable to say to someone they can do something and then take it away because i didn't take the extended warrenty. On hand over, I was told the car would be cleaned however it wasnt the inside was discusting, the car was muddy, grimey on the inside. The outside was perfect. Spoken to them and they said to bring it back to be cleaned, I live far away so not possible. Had an issue with the front number plate, it was lose when we got home, was told screws would be sent in the post, waited 2 weeks, and no screws arrived, Was told that they were posted and should have arrived, 3 Weeks later i don't have this sorted, supposed to be going to get it sorted but not had any correspondence from Perrys about a date or time for fixing. Looks like ill have to go Amazon or take to a local garage to get it fixed. Would i recommend Perrys Probably not, Would i go back probably not. When spending Thousands on a new car you expect it to be spot on, and on this occasion it wasnt.
