Stars changed from 2 to 4. See last para on review. Truck was a good price and initially dealing with Douglas all straightforward and painless until money changed hands. Spoilt by a couple of things, the main one being a promise by Douglas to sort an issue with a lock on the canopy. It was promised it would be sorted before we picked up the truck. It had been made to look like it was fixed with handle opening and shutting OK but noted later that day after driving away that key would not lock. Multiple calls and promises by Douglas over 6 months to fix all ended with nothing. There was always something causing an issue for it to be fixed. Disappointing! The power of reviews. On seeing my review Douglas promptly apologised and fixed what he promised. Changed my points from 2 to 4.

We got a car in May and luckily were able to return the car as problems occured in the first week. After spending over \xa3500 on the car we had to return it due to engine issues, which shouldn't be the case with a 2020 crossland. The reviews are very mixed but we should have trusted our gut. Douglas helped us with the return but we just wish it never happened, it was a lot of stress, issues and money we never needed. I would certainly have a look elsewhere!

Just bought a wee gem off a car bought wed picked up sat fully MOTd and Douglas even put 2 new tyres on as they were advisories. Douglas is great to deal with and answers messages straight away. Totally hassle free start to finish and got great trade in price for my old car. Great to deal with a small dealer who puts the customer first. Thumbs up from me and will be back again in the future. Douglas is a gent with no haggling or pushy sales let's you look at the car in your own time

I bought a car from them and they provided false information as they have no knowledge of cars there mechanic only does certain repairs and does not know cars that was thier words not mine. Told it would be ready in less than 5 days two weeks later it was ready. During the sale I asked about the timing belt and the guy(Douglas) told me it had a timing chain and showed me on his phone it had a timing chain, turns it has a timing belt that was not replaced as should have been and when I said to he was wrong he refused to believe me I showed him evidence he did not believe that he went to land rover and they told him it did. I arrived to collect the car getting a train and walking up and he said the car was no longer available. I paid insurance, tax and everything else for the car plus my time and he said it was no longer for sale. I got upset and tired to resolve the issue but they refused. They offered a refund but said the other costs were my problem exact words they used. So I sit on the train home with no money, no car, really angry and upset I just could not let someone else be ripped off by them so I never write reviews so this is just due to them being so poor. At anytime during the two weeks they could have given me a refund so I had time to sort something out but when I arrived there they mess you around and get angry with you for them failing. Incompetence is really the best word for it. Eventually we got a refund after getting the police involved and the threats of violence stopped.

A good business can be judged by the service they give. Douglas was polite and helpful from the first meeting. He says it how it is, which I appreciate. Another indicator is how you are treated when things don’t go quite according to plan. Again Dundee Car Sales LTD and Douglas were helpful and polite, sorted the problem out and we cannot fault them. Wish all businesses behaved in this way. Thank you Douglas.

Worst car I have ever bought for faults out of all the cars I've ever bought. Got my mokka last year. Fair enough you fixed the boot clip but it wasn't even off the forecourt 12 hours. I got a service straight away because I only had 3 months warranty and 2 weeks of that was wasted fixing boot. Handed a list to Dougie of all the things it was going to fail the MOT on. Took my car for 3 days and apparently it was fixed, well according to the garage I picked it up from. He kicked what must of been an old exhaust and said that he had replaced mines, which was rubbish as my car still failed it's MOT with the same problem you said you fixed. Taken me a year to be able to afford everything that needs fixed and nearly 2 grand. Knew I should of listened to my friends and my gut and gone else where. Next car will be back to MKS because at least Mo fixes any issues before selling cars and gives you 1 year MOT
