2 Previous Owners, 1959 Austin Healey 100/6 Finished in Grey Metallic with Ox Blood Leather InteriorThis exceptional Austin Healey 100/6 (BN/6) was manufactured 1956 but not registered until January 1958 and exported to South Africa early in its life where it remained and was subsequently restored. In the latter part of 2019, it was imported back home and registered here in the UK in 2020.The Austin-Healey 100 was built by the British Motor Corporation, (BMC). The '100' name comes from Donald Healey who selected the name from the car's ability to reach 100mph. The final '100' models, 1956's 'BN4' (2+2 seats) and 1958's 'BN6' (2 seats) were six-cylinder 100-Six cars.Boasting manual gearbox with overdrive, this desirable two-seater is UK registered, and the RU numbered original block has been uprated to a BN7 3.0 litre and rebuilt. When it was restored, the brakes were also converted to disc brakes at the front.
