Update: the service department has gone seriously downhill. I paid \xa3132 for diagnostics and complimentary valet. A rescue company took my car in with a fan problem (it was staying on constantly and running the battery down, which is why I couldn't drive it in). They failed to find the fault, which was the fan was only running on the highest of three speeds which had ruined the battery and other electrics as a result. Took the car home and the fan stayed on, ran the battery to flat and I had to take it to a local garage who found/ repaired the fault and the car has been good since then. Instead they did a health check with overpriced work recommendations which I'm having sorted elsewhere. This is the second time I have felt let down. Before my MOT and service last year I had coolant leak related repairs. A month later a coolant leak was identified as an advisory on my MOT that should have been sorted before when I paid a very expensive bill for all the coolant leak work to be done. I sent three emails to staff asking about this- all ignored. I have sent a complaint twice about my latest problem with a fan and again, no response after a week. They didn't valet clean my car either. The diagnostic health check video wasn't sent during the day and when I collected the car it was sent to the wrong address due to a typo manually entering my address. My feeling is that this garage is chasing money with overpriced bills (over \xa3120 for aircon regas, which isn't needed as the aircon is fine according to two other garages/ mechanics), removing services like complementary cars when my car is being serviced, and needs to sort out the quality of diagnostics and communicating with customers. I no longer trust this garage to service my car but unfortunately have a service plan with them. Previous review was five star: Service staff are very professional and friendly. Nice waiting area with hot drinks machine and pods and another waiting area at rear of showroom plus toilet facilities. Worth joining the Vauxhall Club for free checks and offers. Very happy with the quality of services and prices.

I agreed a purchase of a vehicle from Drive Vauxhall WSM. On arriving to collect the car, all was not as it appeared on the advert or during my communication with the sales advisor. Despite only having 1600 miles on the clock, and being 7 months old, all wheels were curbed, two panels needed respraying due to damage and the car was covered in scratches. I agreed to proceed with the purchase and return in circa 10 days to collect when the issues had been rectified. There was no communication from the dealership and after chasing for updates, I finally arranged to collect 15 days later. Whilst some work had been carried out, it was very substandard. There was still a dent on a panel that had been resprayed, multiple scratches over the car (despite apparently being polished) and the alloy wheel refurbishment had ‘bubbling’ around some of the edges. In addition, another wheel arch and door now had new damage that wasn’t there previously. I was given the option to come back a third time to collect the vehicle, bring the vehicle back at a later date, or cancel. Having lost faith in the company and travelled 2 hours on two occasions to go there, I pulled out of the purchase. Given the terrible service and time wasting I experienced, I expected an apology from the manager who is supposed to be running a ‘professional’ car dealership. When informed of my decision, the manager didn’t have the decency to come and apologise and sent the junior salesman out to tell me I could have my deposit refunded. Thankfully, the salesman had the decency to offer me a lift back to the train station. Overall a very unprofessional dealership that I wouldn’t recommend.
