AVOID AT ALL COSTS***** Brought a Chevrolet Orlando 2012 with roughly 90,000, lots of service history and cam belt replaced a few years prior. After the 2nd day of owning it the engine comes on. Taken to their garage for over a week told issue is fix with no receipt or paperwork done. Told it was a cracked thermostat and leaking water from engine. Fast forward 4 months the car had been back In their garage for an oil leak. Another month goes by and again the engine lights is on, I take it back to my garage and they tell me that the head gasket has gone. The repair is more than the cost of the car. I commute everyday from Bournemouth to Southampton and this was key in the car I wanted as it had to be reliable and up for the task, which Dan who sold me the car ensured me it would handle the commute no problem. I have now emailed cars of Kinson about the fact a car they sold me has been in the garage 4 times in 6 months and the faulty thermostat has lead to my head gasket being blown. I have been told by people in the motor industry that what they have done to myself and others is against trading standards.

Unfortunately my review follows the same as the previous 2. I bought a used car from here. Yes it had some miles on it and was of an age but what i came across 6 months after having it. The tracking was off and ripped my tyres apart. Bough 2 new and tracking done. But the tracking wouldnt stay on. Turns out after a few days of the garage trying to work it out and me having to go to another garage the front arms that they fixed before the MOT was done were incorrect. So ive been driving a car in a dangerous state with my children and other peoples children in. I called citizens advice and they said i had a good chance. All i requested was for them to pay for the work i had to have done on it and all i got back was take me to court. But being a single mum ive already put myself in debt with having to fix the car i couldnt afford that too. Im dreading the MOT now and have little faith in the car. Avoid this place. I dont know how they are still there after all this time.

If there was a zero star, I would use that, one star is too high. What a sham of a garage, and unfortunately it seems our experience is the same as Adam Reeves's experience. Saw a car that we liked, they sent it to be prepared and found a couple of issues that took 3 weeks to "repair". Turned out they disabled the alarm as It kept going off (but told us it had been repaired and was working fine), and a headlight issue that turned out to be the headlight unit needed replacing. I rejected the vehicle, to be told by the owner, sorry, take me to court if you want your money back!! Luckily I paid part of the invoice on my credit card, who have refunded me in full, and I am sure they will lose no sleep in taking this dodgy dealer to court to get their money back. As Adam says, AVOID Cars of Kinson at all costs. Adam, if you read this, I will be happy to provide evidence as to the nature of this Garage if you need it when you take them to court. I have now reported them to the AA scheme and trading standards. If you must but from them, use your credit card so at least you have some comeback as the "garage" won't.
