Cazoo has a range of Mercedes C-Class cars for sale. If you're thinking of buying or financing a used Mercedes C-Class, we answer any questions you might have below.
The Mercedes C-Class is available as both a traditional four-door saloon and five-door estate. Looking a little like a smaller S-Class limousine, the C-Class oozes luxury appeal. AMG-Line models add bigger wheels and bodykits that give them a sporty look.
The Mercedes C-Class is a precise and satisfying car to drive. It’s also extremely comfortable, making it a relaxing choice for long journeys. With front and rear sensors, parking the C-Class is easy. Both petrol and diesel models offer a fine blend of performance and economy, while almost all are fitted with a smooth automatic gearbox. The C-Class is rear wheel drive but versions badged 4MATIC get four-wheel drive. The AMG C43 and C63 models deliver high performance.
The five-seat Mercedes C-Class has an interior that’s roomy and really well finished in top quality materials. The estate models have a vast boot with rear seats that fold at the touch of a button. All models are extremely well-equipped, with Bluetooth connectivity, realistic fake leather trim and climate control. Sport models add bigger wheels and LED headlamps, while AMG-Line versions get some sporty visual upgrades.
You’ll pay a little more to buy a Mercedes C-Class, but its beautifully finished interior and an ability to hold onto its value offset the extra cost. The diesel models are extremely efficient and attract low road tax, but even the petrols don’t cost as much to run as you’d think. Maintenance costs are slightly higher than mainstream models like the Ford Mondeo, but longer service intervals mean you don’t visit the dealer as often. Mercedes is famed for building reliable cars while it features class leading safety equipment and a five-star Euro NCAP award.
The Mercedes C-Class is a compact executive model, sitting between the smaller hatchback A-Class and the larger executive E-Class. It’s more relaxing, comfortable and luxurious than its rivals, the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series. Auto Express is one of many magazines to name it their Compact Executive Car of the Year.
With its luxurious mini-limousine ride comfort and beautifully finished interior, the C-Class is a very desirable saloon for everyday use. The estate is the most practical, while the performance AMG models are fast and fun.
The C-Class maintains Mercedes’ reputation for building dependable and durable cars, with few owners experiencing problems.
Given its premium badge, the Mercedes C-Class is surprisingly cost effective to run. The petrol and diesel engines are efficient, while tax, insurance and servicing bills are on a par with rivals.
The four-door saloon has exactly the same sized boot as rivals, while there’s more interior space. The estate version is extremely versatile and allcars get plenty of useful interior storage.
In terms of space, comfort, quality and standard equipment, the Mercedes beats its rivals the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series. Comfortable and assured to drive, it’s supremely relaxing.
