Thinking of buying a used Range Rover Evoque?

Cazoo has a range of Range Rover Evoque cars for sale. If you're thinking of buying or financing a used Range Rover Evoque, we answer any questions you might have below.

The style of the car

The Range Rover Evoque has been a desirable model since it first arrived. Available in three or five-door versions as well as a convertible, it has the looks of an off-roader but is also very stylish in its appearance. The narrow windows, particularly at the rear, give it a sporty, almost coupe-like look.

How it drives

The Range Rover Evoque drives like a normal SUV on the road, but is surprisingly capable on rough or slippery ground too. An easy-to-use Terrain Response System assists you whatever road or track surface you’re on. It has a high driving position, great engines and smooth gearboxes. Its compact size makes it easy to drive and park in town, and its powerful engines mean it can tow a trailer.

The interior

Clever design makes the Range Rover Evoque look larger than it actually is. It’s similar in size to many of its main rivals, though its minimalist interior design helps the space feel bigger than it is. There’s room for up to five adults, though the five-door versions offer more family practicality. Both these and the three-door cars have ample space in the boot for a number of suitcases or weekend leisure gear. Even basic models feature leather upholstery and a connected infotainment system, but move up the range and you get more technology and even greater luxury.

Running costs and reliability

Expect to pay a similar price for a Range Rover Evoque as for its rivals, the BMW X1 and the Audi Q3. Running costs are going to be similar, with insurance and road tax in the upper half of the scale. Diesel engines give the best fuel consumption but some of the petrol engines are almost as economical. Maintenance costs vary but are generally around the same as many other premium SUV models. The Evoque has an excellent five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.

How it compares with similar cars

The Range Rover Evoque is smaller than the Range Rover Sport. It’s compact enough for the city while being equally at home in the country. It’s very much a Land Rover at heart and more capable than its Audi Q3 and BMW X1 rivals off-road. It’s been popular with critics too, receiving accolades like the Auto Express Small Premium SUV of the Year and the GQ magazine’s Best Compact SUV.

Range Rover Evoque common questions

The Evoque provides all the comfort, luxury and off-road ability of larger Range Rovers in a compact SUV that’s easy to live with and great to look at.

Land Rover has worked hard over the years to make its models reliable and it certainly appears to be succeeding.

Running costs are similar to rivals with very efficient petrol and diesel engines. Other running costs such as tax, insurance and servicing are comparable to other premium SUVs.

It might look stylish, but the Evoque is extremely practical too with great visibility of the road, lots of space and storage options.

The Evoque has Range Rover luxury and status that its rivals do not, as well as typical Land Rover off-road capablity.
