Thinking of buying a used Audi Q3?

Cazoo has a range of Audi Q3 cars for sale. If you're thinking of buying or financing a used Audi Q3, we answer any questions you might have below.

The style of the car

The Audi Q3 is a stylish five-door small SUV that offers the premium look and feel you expect from a German brand. It’s taller than the A3 hatchback on which it’s based and comes in a wide range of versions, including sporty-looking S-Line versions, the powerful RS Q3 and a coupe-like Sportback.

How it drives

The Audi Q3 is a great SUV to drive. It’s small enough to cope with city traffic, but its wide range of petrol and diesel engines make it comfortable on longer drives as well. Audi’s ‘Quattro’ all-wheel drive system, which comes fitted to some versions of the Q3, provides excellent grip.   The Q3 S-Line is a sporty variant, with a firmer ride for those who want a racier  feel. Parking is easy with good visibility in all directions and plenty of sensors to help. The Q3 also makes a good towing car.

The interior

The Audi Q3 is slightly bigger than the A3 hatchback, which means more passenger and luggage space. There’s room for five adults and you can fit enough luggage for a family holiday in the boot. For transporting bigger loads, the back seats fold down to give you space for a bicycle.

Entry-level models are well equipped, but the best kit comes in SE models or above. These versions have better infotainment, Bluetooth and dual zone climate control, which lets the driver keep warm and toasty while the front seat passenger stays cool.

Running costs and reliability

The Audi Q3 is more expensive than other small SUVs, but it’s a great used buy. Prices will be similar to the likes of the BMW X1. Both petrol and diesel engines are very fuel efficient and other costs like insurance and road tax are similar to rivals, with only the performance versions costing more to run. Maintenance costs are helped by Audi’s fixed price servicing and the Q3 has a great reputation for reliability. It’s also very safe with a five-star Euro NCAP rating.

How it compares with similar cars

The Audi Q3 is about the same size as the BMW X1 and the Mercedes GLA. As premium cars, all of these models have very well designed interiors, but the Audi stands out as being the nicest. It’s received several awards for its design and practicality.

Audi Q3 common questions
