Luca, 32, lives in Acton and works in advertising. He wanted to buy a used car for a while but he couldn’t find the time to go to a dealership. He was also worried about visiting a private seller. We caught up with him at his home to hear all about his experience with Cazoo.

Q: Hi Luca! So when you visited our website, did you know what kind of car you wanted?

A: I wanted to buy something fun and cool, but big enough to drive friends around. I also want to get a dog soon, so I needed something that’s dog-friendly. I’d been thinking about getting a car for a while but I just didn’t have time to go and sort it all out. I’m from New Zealand, so this is the first car I’ve bought in the UK!

Q: Did you have any questions before purchasing?

A: I didn’t really understand the difference between petrol, hybrid and diesel or what was going on with the UK’s regulations. It’s a 2018 car so it’s almost new and all the systems would have confused me. It was a good day. I was pretty excited when I saw that truck arrive.

Q: What are you planning on doing now you have your Cazoo car?

A: See my family more. I plan to do a few trips around the UK and I’ll use it around London. I’m refurbishing my new house and it’s helped me out a lot as I can drive to the hardware shop without having to spend money on a cab.
