Hi Jasmine, how’s it going? We’d love to know how you found your perfect car with Cazoo.

My husband and I had been looking for a family car for a long time. We needed to find one that was able to fit all the baby’s accessories and park on the street. We also wanted something really comfortable on long journeys, because we live in Brighton and my husband's family lives in Manchester. So we had quite a long list of criteria. We even made a spreadsheet because that's the kind of people we are!

One day we found this gorgeous, aqua-blue Suzuki Vitara and we were like, oh my gosh, it's on Cazoo! I already knew about Cazoo, including the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee, so I was like, OK let's see if this car is going to be the one for us. 

And how easy was it to order your car online?

Easy – there was nothing complicated.

How did it go on delivery day?

When Cazoo delivered our car, I giddily ran out. The van pulled up and we had a good look around. The Handover Specialist who delivered it was really friendly and informative. He spoke to us about the car’s features and he was really kind. It was a very personal experience.

What was it about buying a car from Cazoo that appealed to you the most?

For me, it was the ease of having the car delivered to your doorstep. There was no extra mileage on the car because it arrived on the back of a transporter, all lovely and tidy!

It was also about having the seven days to test drive the car, to make sure it was the right one for us.

It’s a great way to decide if it's the perfect car. So what made you go for this particular make and model?

I like the features and the size, it’s practical. It was important that the car is big enough so we don’t have to bend down to pick up the little one or to put him in the car seat. We also wanted something eco-friendly.

It looks so nice driving down the road, too, especially in the sun. Our house is a very similar paint colour. We're not kind of straight-up people, you know, we like a bit of sparkle in our lives! So it was really important for us to get a car that represented our personalities.

Was there anything that surprised you about buying a used car online?

I think it was the peace of mind. Knowing that, within the first seven days, you have the choice of sending it back for a refund is quite a comfort. I think for us as well, this is our first car that we've bought as a family and it's quite a big deal. It's not just for me and my husband, it's for our baby. So it had to be perfect.

I hope the little one is enjoying it. What would you say to a friend who was thinking about buying a car from Cazoo?

I would be positive about it. If you’re torn between driving two or three hours to have a look at a car that might not be right, or you find a car online that’s ticking all the boxes – go with Cazoo. There's a lot more that you get and it takes away that anxiety and classic concept of like, going to look at a car with your Dad or uncle for hours! There's none of that and it all just feels very transparent.

Before my son, we would have spent a whole weekend driving around to different car dealers. But when your priorities change, convenience is a big key.
