FAQs

You’ve got up to a week to get to know your Cazoo car and to make sure it suits you. If, for whatever reason, you’re not completely happy with it, just let us know by 8pm on the 7th day after your delivery or collection date and we’ll give you a full refund.

We can’t accept a return if the car has been modified or altered from the condition it was received in.

If you drive the car over the 250 mile limit during the first 7 days, every additional mile will cost £1 per mile and we may not be able to accept the car as a return.

If the car has been in an accident or is damaged, we may not be able to accept the car as a return and there may be charges for damage.

Nope, we’ll pick it up for free within the first 7 days!

Once a refund has been processed, it takes 5 working days for the money to be back in your account.

You can return as many cars as you’d like. However, only your first car will be picked up for free. If you order more than one car in a 12-month period you’ll need to pay a £100 collection fee for the return. You would still be entitled to our free 7-Day Driveaway Insurance, 90-day warranty and 250 miles allowance on every purchase as standard.

When we come and pick up the car, we’ll check it over and agree if it’s good to return. Then we’ll kick off the refund process.

The refund will need to happen using the same original payment method and will include any charges for damage or mileage beyond the 250 mile limit.

The refund will only be processed once we have your signed V5. Once all this is confirmed, your money will be back in your account within 5 working days.

If you decide to return your Cazoo car within the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee period, we won’t be able to give you your old car back. We'll do our best to help you find an alternative car to buy from Cazoo. We’ll also pay you the cash equivalent of the part exchange via bank transfer.

If you return you car and need to get your road tax refunded, head over to the DVLA.

If you’d like to return your car within the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee period, you’ll need to contact us to book a pick up within 7 days of your delivery or collection. The pick up will need to take place within 14 days of when you received the car.

If you don't book within 7 days of  your delivery or collection date, or the car isn’t picked up within 14 days of delivery or collection, you won’t be eligible for the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee.

If you had your car delivered, we’ll need to pick it up at the same address. We'll also collect your V5C log book at the same time, but if you haven't received it by the time we pick up the car, please post it to Cazoo, 40 Churchway, London, NW1 1LW once it arrives from the DVLA.

If you won’t be home at the time arranged for the pick up, you’ll need to contact our Customer Support Team on 020 3901 3488 at least 24 hours before to rearrange it. We’ll still pick up the car at no extra cost. 

If you need to rearrange your pick up less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, there will be a cancellation charge of £250. We’ll take this payment when you reschedule online.
