Sold a van with several pre-existing faults which I didn\u2019t spot unfortunately. Radio touch screen faulty, broken Sun-visor mirror, leaky injector seals, faulty passenger seat-belt, dent on wing. Took them 9 days to sort, I had to drop off/pick-up/chase for progress, didn\u2019t offer a replacement van whilst being fixed so insisted on one as only one we have to run business and charged me an admin fee for the privelidge. Better PDI checks needed. Told me it was a long-term business rental van, got in and 66 previous Iphone users so definitely an ex-hire van! Doubt I\u2019d go back. Sent the head office an email detailing the above never got a reply. Definitely better places to deal with out there.
Well this has turned into an awful customer service experience. We've brought 7 vans off van monster over thast 3 years or so and the last two have been HORRIFIC. Understand that vehicles have faults but VM sold us a van with an ongoing fault history - which then failed the first week we had it. So they made us drive the van to cannock, didn't give us a hire vhicle - kept the van for over a week and made us drive over to cannock again to pick it up. They didn't fix the problem however - just reset the fault so it didn't show. The next ime it failed - the Nice man from the AA came out and told us he's seen this van about 7 times before!! So we handed the van back to VM saying we wouldn't accept it unless the underlying fault was resolved. So we got a replacement van. So far we're about \xa33000 in on lost days, hire vans, new signwriting etc. And then the replacement fails - and we have to take that to cannock - and they say its fixed but this time the fault re-occurs within 16 miles - so we're told to take the van back to cannock...... you get the picture - A COMPLETE WASTE OF OUT TIME. Avoid them. Premium prices for dumpster level customer service. took it in, reset the fault and then gave us it back.
