My partner part exchanged her Vauxhall Adam for a Toyota Yaris through Barbourne and we found them to be great throughout the process. They made it simple and hassle free and were always friendly and professional. The Yaris has been great and she's very happy with it, I'm sure it'll serve her nicely for years to come. If you're thinking of buying a car through Barbourne, I definitely recommend it. They are honest and good people.
I bought a lovely red Toyota off Barbourne Car Sales a few months ago and it is running VERY nicely. My partner and I had a bad experience with a garage in my local area, so it was lovely to have the warm welcome from the gents there at Barbourne. There was so much flexibility on what I could test drive, they were very honest and took pride in their business. Something I also liked was it was fairly busy... which was nice to see. There wasn't any rush or push for me to buy, just a gentle, 'someone else is coming to view this car'. They were patient as I waiting to get payment available for the car, and gave me a reasonable price for my Vauxhall Adam to part ex. They also kept the garage open past closing time so I could collect my car after work. I know if I ever had an issue they would be accommodating and I have recommended them to other people.
My daughter brought her first car from here last year , a little red Fiat 500 . In the price agreed the cambelt was changed which is a piece of mind when buying a car. Its just passed its MOT 1 year later with zero problems ! She loves the car and it was a good but from a decent garage , thanks

I bought a 2012 (62 plate) Hyundai i20 last September (2024). Car looked in very good condition. Had it a few weeks and issues began to develop. Here is the list so far: September/October 2024 Rear boot struts broke. Garaged replaced Water leaking into the boot well. Garaged repaired this. Blocked drainage, which caused soaked carpets throughout. This was fixed by the garage. November 2024 Next the car had to have new rear shock absorbers. These should have been an MOT advisory before the car was put on the forecourt. Next the car had to have a new steering rack and this was done under warranty after I made a complaint to the warranty company. November 2024 Drivers side anti roll bar link had to be replaced. January 2025 Set of new rear discs and pads. The old ones had been put on brand new when I bought the car. Which was only 4 months previous. March 2025 Passenger side front anti roll bar link had to be replaced. October 2025 Car now needs inner track rods and another steering rack. These components have only been on for 12 months and need to be replaced. Warranty period has expired. 12 months or 12000 miles. Considering I have only had this car for 14 months, a lot has gone wrong. The car only has 84000 miles on the clock which isn't alot for a 13 year old car. I have been seriously left out of pocket for what I hoped would be relatively hassle free driving for the first 12 months. I know that secondhand cars are a lottery , however this many problems in such a short space of time isn't really very impressive. I would say buyer beware. I did as much due diligence as I possibly could of and have been left with hefty repair bills. Personally I won't be bringing my custom back here again. I bought the car in good faith and have been left seriously disappointed. Choose wisely and don't get caught out like me.
I brought a car from here a few months ago and waited until now to leave a review. I\u2019ve owned the car since June 2025, the car came with 11 months MOT a good service history, the car is 11 years old and I believe it was advertised at a reasonable price, I\u2019ve had no issues with this car, it drives like a dream. We will be back for any future purchase and will recommend you to anyone looking for a new car. Thank you barbourne car sales!
