Auctioned on Saturday 29th November.

This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers at The Brooklands Velocity; Mercedes-Benz World sale on Saturday 29th November. In 1998 the Bentley Arnage was launched, replacing the legendary Bentley Turbo. Built by Bentley Motors in Crewe from 1998 to 2009, the Arnage and its Rolls-Royce counterpart the Silver Seraph were introduced in the Spring of 1998 and were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. The new Arnage was to be powered by a BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered twin-turbo chargers and was designated the 'Arnage Green Label' and the Seraph was to employ a BMW V12 engine. Due to customer pressure regarding the engine, the far superior 'Arnage Red Label' was launched in October 1999 and the engine reverted to the iconic Rolls-Royce derived 6.8 litre V8 power plant. This example, driven down from Scotland by the owner, is presented in dark metallic green and has a black leather interior. He bought the car in November 2016 and it has always been in a specialist storage every winter and has been off the road (SORN) in specialist storage since 2021.
